Last week a major flaw was discovered in the Domain Name System (DNS). Dan Kaminsky of IO Active discovered the flaw while doing some other major research. After finding the flaw he contacted each of the main vendors in the computer industry to notify them of the fix. In order to deploy the fix without hacks, each of the vendors kept the details secret while developing the fix.
If you would like to test your DNS to see if the problem is fixed, or still vulnerable to DNS poisoning, check out, http://www.doxpara.com and click on the “Check My DNS” link.
